ABOUT

Here at Beacon Care we offer therapeutic care to young people presenting with complex social, emotional and behavioural needs. The service we offer is led by an experienced staff team and is inclusive of support from a qualified psychologist which informs our practice and ensures our interventions are based upon a formulation of the young person’s needs.

At present we have placements that can accommodate up to three young people. We offer placements that can be both short term and long term.  However, because we believe that stability is fundamental as a platform on which to grow, we would ideally take children on a longer-term basis.

We are currently based in the North-West but over the next year we expect to be able to provide homes across the north of England.

If you would like to discuss what we offer we welcome general enquiries and would be happy to discuss our service with you further.  If you wish to contact us please do so by using our contact form.

If you would like to make a referral please do so using our referral form.

OUR VALUES AND ETHOS

At Beacon Care, our values and ethos are built around our aim to provide the best opportunity for young people to learn and grow. We are committed to our belief that respect, integrity, relationships and teamwork are essential to our ability as a service to give young people the chance to thrive.  With this in mind we strive to foster independence by being responsive to the young person’s ideas, views and wishes with respect for their future potential.

We aim to ensure that our young people are not only respected but valued and protected.  We aim to create relationships between the adults and young people in our care that enables them to work in partnership to achieve their ambitions.

We value each of our staff equally for their expertise and experience. We aim to provide staff with a working environment within which effective teamwork is possible and individual development is actively encouraged and supported.
